Hello my dear congregation of corvid fanatics!

I have been invited to co-moderate a special tumblr blog that is dedicated to sharing bird-related artwork that can be found all over DA. The point is not to take credit away from the artists obviously, but rather raise awareness for the awesome avian centric photographies, drawings, craftings etc of the many amazing artists on DA. The founder of this blog has recently contacted me an offered me to be able to share the many awesome things from our club on her blog!

And if you don't have a tumblr blog yet I'd heavily recommend that you should set one up! Its quick and easy and you will discover a grand world full with pretty much anything you are keen on and have interest in.

One another note, I know I haven't been too active with status updates and adding artwork to the gallery. But alas RL often has to take priority over these things. I'm sure you will be able to forigev me that.

Also I am pretty sure we need a new club icon rather soon. I will get to it as soon as I can I reckon. I am always open for suggestions or even submissions though! So if you have a good idea and want to work out something that represents our awesome club, shoot me a note!

Countdown To Caw

We are slowly but surely edging towards the 1000 Member mark!

The glorious corvid friend that achieves this landmark will recieve a shout out and possibly an art feature in this journal from yours truly! (And hopefully I can drag :iconswandog: into this too X>)

On a different note, yes this club regarding actvities or journal post, isnt the most productive one so I wanted to hear your oppinion on if you would like to see contests, art features and the like or if looking at our contiounsly expanding art gallery is already enough.

Also Ive been thinking about a redesign of our club icon. Its been our sign to the rest of DA for a couple of years now and it defenitly served its purpose quite well, but we are getting older too and we should think about going with the times and get something new and spicy! There's a good chance we could hold a contest again for the purpose of finding a new club icon, but because of reasons I can't personally guarantee that there will be any other prizes than the priviledge of having designed the icon for our cawesome companionship (Yes I like amazing alliterations a lot!)

Tell me what you think and we'll get some cool and exciting events in the near future for sure!
